Volunteering at the JHC
We're passionate about the work that we do and are always looking for volunteers who share that same passion. As many of our events are planned from our office in Edmonton, we're looking for individuals from Edmonton who are able to regularly commute to and from our office.
We're currently looking for:
• Office Volunteers - you'd be responsible for coming into our office for regular weekly shifts to help with general office tasks, event preparation, and helping staff with administrative duties or projects. The minimum time requirement for office volunteers is two hours per week.
• Fundraising Team - we are keen to build a strong team that can strengthen our fundraising efforts in the community that can get creative and innovative. This team will need a diverse range of skills from communications and much more.
• Street Reporting - The street reporting team aims to catch the vibe and beat of people on critical human rights issues. We need people interested in getting out and reporting, video editing, writing etc.
• Rights in Play Educators - If you are someone who is interested in getting out and educating children and youth about human rights, we are looking for committed volunteers who have some daytime availability to join the team. Next training is May 23.
If you are interested in contributing your time, please fill out the volunteer application below.
