YEG Dignity 2020: Dignity During a Pandemic
Dignity During a Pandemic: No One Left Behind is a podcast produced by the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, in collaboration with community members, exploring what dignity looks like during the COVID-19 pandemic. We delve into how the many facets of our identities shape how we are treated in our communities, and how each of us navigates the struggles that surface and also find hope and strength during these challenging times. This podcast is a way to uplift local stories and lived experience in order to call to action and name the injustices we are seeing during this pandemic. Through this podcast we encounter tough realities, while learning and imagining a future where the common safety, freedom and dignity of all, is articulated and upheld.
You can hear the podcast on your podcast platform of choice: Anchor, Apple Podcasts, Breaker, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts, RadioPublic, Soundcloud, Spotify, or Stitcher. Or tune onto CJSR 88.5 FM every Tuesday at 5:30PM!
Create Your Own Podcast
The YEGDignity 2020 Campaign seeks to understand the new realities and impacts of living under quarantine. In creating a podcast series ourselves, we wanted to ensure that others had access to tools to share their hopes, fears, and experiences as we make sense of this new COVID-19 world.
