The Human Rights Facilitator program equips seasoned and new facilitators with the tools and skills to create spaces of learning and dialogue around human rights issues in their communities. Guided by human rights principles and anti-oppressive practices, JHC supports the development of facilitation skills that help build stronger and more resilient communities.

Cost: $500
In this program you will:
deepen your understanding of the United Nations’ treaties and declarations and understand how they are relevant to the local context;
explore how facilitation can be a tool for human rights advocacy and accountability;
gain skills in facilitating spaces of intersectionality and with a lens to decolonization; and,
learn skills in documenting and translating dialogue outcomes to stakeholders.
Participants will receive our Human Rights Facilitator Manual, a toolkit of popular education activities and plans to support you in facilitating human rights.
The hall is wheelchair accessible; there is free street parking on site and within walking distance to bus/LRT stations.
