USTICE4REEL will highlight the talent of aspiring filmmakers who are focused on exploring themes connected to social justice, human rights and grassroots activism. In addition, this inspiring event will provide a platform for justice-focused artists across multiple disciples (such as music and visual/digital arts) to be showcased throughout the festival.
This exciting artistic showcase will tackle important topics that effect young people in ground breaking new ways and will positively impact our diverse community by creating opportunities for social change through artistic expression & community dialogue.

Help advance a culture of dignity and respect for all in our city by becoming a part of the #YEGDignity movement and support JUSTICE4REEL.
#YEGDignity is a youth driven project that uses participatory and creative arts to tackle tough human rights issues in our community. This project was initiated by The John Humphrey Centre’s Youth Action Project on Poverty, a team of young change-makers who have sought to challenge stereotypes and document critical social justice themes using art, music and film. https://www.makesomethingedmonton.ca/projects/1006-yegdignity-campaign/
This initiative has been made possible with the support of the Edmonton Community Foundation's Youth Empowerment Grant and in partnership with Metro Cinema.
