Appreciative and Active Listening in Advocacy - Stride Workshop

This workshop, facilitated by Rocky Ward of Native Counselling Services, will provide community advocates with skills in understanding how to support community members as active and appreciative listeners. Using a participatory learning approach, we will explore ways that will help or hinder community members in opening up and sharing their issues and how to provide effective supports centred on human relationship.

Dinner will be provided

*Note, the entrance is located to the left/west of the main entrance to the goodwill store. The space is wheelchair accessible. We will be providing support to those with hard of hearing.
