International Day of Persons with Disabilities: Nothing About Us Without Us
In honour of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and International Human Rights Day, please join us for an afternoon of training and conversation on critical human rights challenges faced by people living with disabilities and the need for a culture of inclusion.
People living with disabilities should be entitled and guaranteed the enjoyment of their rights and freedoms without discrimination and distinction of any kind.
All abilities, ages and backgrounds welcome!

Self-Advocacy for People Living with Disabilities: (1 to 2:30 pm)
This training is targeted towards people living with disabilities to strengthen their self-advocacy skills and capacity to be active participants in their life and community. It will provide tips and tricks while building confidence and skills in problem-solving.
Typing services will be provided. Written materials will also be available to participants electronically and in hard copy.
