In this session, Righting Relations member Chickadee Richard will share lessons and experiences in effective advocacy. We will explore the different approaches to advocacy, both individual and systemic, and gain perspective on strategies and tips for success.

Chickadee Richard is an Anishinaabe elder of the Bear Clan who has served on the board of the Indigenous Environmental Network, as a spokeswoman for Idle No More, and is a member of Righting Relations Network. Chickadee is a restorative justice worker for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, a traditional justice worker and a Grandmother.

Lunch will be served at noon. Programming will begin at 1 pm.
