Paint the Rails: Legacy Book Fundraiser Tiers and Incentives

As you may have seen on our social media, we are kicking off a new fundraiser, the Paint the Rails Legacy Book. This book will document our process of learning about the history of colonization, place, and belonging through engaging and learning with diverse community groups across the city through community story-sharing and art.

The Legacy Book aims to engage in ongoing reflection, learning, and dialogue. We believe in the importance of centering lived-experiences and power of communities to tell their own stories and lead their own teachings. We hope to see this book used as an educational resource to facilitate and activate further learning about our communities around us in Edmonton.

To make this book possible, we need your support to compensate artists and partners of this book, to cover printing costs, and to make this book accessible for everyone.

Here are our various donation tiers:

  • Bronze Tier ($100) - receive a special edition signed copy of the artist designed community colouring book

  • Silver Tier ($500) - name and logo in the Legacy Book and one social media post across our four social media platforms

  • Gold ($2500) - exclusive virtual behind the scenes with artists, name and logo in the Legacy Book, and one social media post across our four social media platforms

  • Platinum ($5000) - Aerosol Academy Graffiti Workshop with AJA Louden, name and logo in the Legacy Book, and one social media post across our four social media platforms
